Downloading the Latest Code Lists:
- Inside QC OnCall, go to Tools > Unity Central > Send/Receive Data
- Click on the empty circle next to “Receive code list” to select it. Click OK.
- You should see the status indicator (blue bars) go all the way from the left to the right and then halt at about 2/3. Wait for a few moments (even if the window says “Not Responding”), the database is updating. In almost all scenarios this should not take more that 5 minutes.
- It has completed when you see, “Data Import Completed”.
Tips: If the bars flash by quickly and then nothing happens or it just hangs for a long time, check to make sure Internet Service Provider is selected under Tools > Setup > Transmission Settings
If you get an Error Message, network security is blocking the transmission. See your internal IT for assistance.
If everything seems to work okay but there are no lot numbers at all in the drop down, there is something on the network that is purging the contents of the code lists before QC OnCall can get them. See your internal IT for assistance.
